Reuters reports that Amazon is investing $55 million into a subsidiary of theirs that works on secret Amazon products.

A2Z Development Center houses Lab126, which developed groundbreaking products like the Fire phone and Fire TV. Along with the investment, Amazon has added close to 800 jobs to A2Z Development Center.

There are also reports that Amazon is working on new hardware products for the home that should make our smart homes even better.

Amazon announced a product in April called the Magic Wand that will work as a simple Wi-Fi device. It’s a device that can be placed in the kitchen or a closet, which would allow you to order common household products like detergent or toilet paper by scanning and pushing a button.
