Apple Might Introduce iWatch Along with iPhone 6 on Sept. 9
The digital news site Re/code reports that Apple plans to unveil a new wearable (Wi-Fi connected watch) alongside the newest version of their cell phones, the iPhone 6.
It’s possible that the iWatch will have plenty of different types of connectivity that will help control other Wi-Fi connected items in your life and in your house. Specifically, the iWatch could help control the lighting or your thermostat in your house.
As Apple tries to make a footprint in the home automation world, the iWatch could be something that sets it apart from all of the others. It might connect with Apple’s HomeKit, which would control most of the connected features in your house.
Evidently, the iWatch would also work with Apple’s HealthKit to help track their fitness and health data.
