Dish-Latino

Dish Latino is the perfect way for viewers to be able to enjoy their favorite programs either on their TV, or online, whether the show happens to be in English or Spanish. This service is provided by the Satellite TV company Dish Network, which is often referred to simply as Dish. Currently, there are four packages available from Dish that allow users to receive their favorite channels from both the United States and Latin America.

The Differences Between Dish Latino Packages

Currently, all of these packages offer special rates with a 24-month service commitment and credit approval. The main difference in the packages are the numbers and types of programming that are available with each package.

DishLATINO Clásico

This package currently starts at $24.99 monthly for 12 months, plus taxes and service fees. After the 12 months the monthly charge $35.99 before taxes and fees. It includes some of the most popular programs from Latin America, as well as local channels in areas where they are available. This package offers up to 180 channels, including Azteca America, Teleformula, Univision, uniMÁS, and Galavision. So, whether it’s news, sports, telenovelas, movies or even music, viewers can find their favorite and most complete Spanish language entertainment and programming within this package.

Subscribers to this package can also add on special, limited time offers, such as free installation, special pricing on Blockbuster @Home, which is free for three months before returning to its regular pricing. This package also has special offers on HBO, Showtime, Starz and Cinemax, which are also free for three months before returning to their regular pricing.

DishLATINO Plus

This package currently starts at $24.99 before taxes and fees, and this monthly rate is good for the first 12 months of service, after which the price returns to $41.99 per month, plus taxes and fees. This package includes all the most desired Latin American channels and local channels that are found in the Clásico package, as well as popular English language channels, such as TBS, AMC, the Cartoon Network and USA. Subscribers receive up to 190 channels with this services.

The limited time offers from HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, Starz and Blockbuster @Home are the same for this package as they are for the Clásico package. Subscribers to this package can also add the Hopper DVR for just $99 more, as well as free HD for life for a limited time.

DishLATINO Dos

This package currently starts at $29.99 per month, before taxes and fees. This monthly rate is good for the first 12 months of service, after which time the service goes back up to $48.99 a month plus taxes and fees. Subscribers receive all the channels that they receive in the first two packages, as well as 30 additional channels.

The limited time offers from HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, Starz and Blockbuster @Home remain the same for this package, but subscribers can upgrade to a free Hopper DVR HD Home, as well as free HD for life.

DishLATINO Max

This package offers all the same channels, features, benefits and limited time offers as the DOS package, plus an additional 40 channels for $39.99 per month for 12 months, before taxes and fees. After the 12 months, the service returns to its regular monthly price of $61.99 a month plus taxes and fees.

Choosing which of the packages that is right for you will depend on whether a viewer prefers to watch mainly Spanish programming. The Clásico package would probably be best, if a particular subscriber wants to have a blend of popular Latin American and English channels. If this is the case, then a subscriber would need to decide based on their budget which of the three remaining packages and limited time offers would be best for their home.

Dish also offers additional special offers to their Dish Latino subscribers.

Special Dish Network Offers

In addition to the four packages, Dish is also currently offering several promotional deals for new customers who subscribe to Dish Latino.

DishAmigo allows subscribers to refer their friends and earn up to $500 per year, and the first referral will earn five Pay-Per-View movie certificates, as well. Once a user subscribes to the service, to take advantage of this offer they just need to give their DishAmigo code to the friend or relative that they wish to refer, and that person will need to enter the code when they subscribe to the service.

Once they have subscribed to Dish Network, the referring customer will receive $50 in credit, and they can refer up to 10 customers per year for a total of $500 credit.

Receive an iPad 2 and Hopper DVR

Customers receive a free iPad2 when they order the Hopper DVR and choose a Dish Latino Plus, Dos or Max package. While certain exclusions apply, such as the requirement of a 24-month contract, credit approval and new activation of the required Dish Network package.

All special offers, rates, prices, packages, functions, features and programming are for a limited time and are subject to being changed without prior notice.

Regardless of which Dish Latino package and add-ons or special offers that subscribers choose, this is one way that lovers of the Spanish language and culture can spice up their entertainment choices through their Satellite TV provider.
