After initially only rolling out in New York City, the free NimbleTV app is now available in Chicago, where they can now watch live television streaming on their tablets and smartphones. By the end of the year, the company expects to bring their service to nine more cities.

NimbleTV Does What Others Couldn’t

There has actually been a lot of debate about services like this, but those other services didn’t force you to register with your Cable TV account subscription like this one does. Cable TV providers are more than happy to allow you to watch their shows (and advertisements) from away from your house. The NimbleTV app is not affiliated with any one specific provider, however.

The NimbleTV app works on mobile devices, like an iPad or other tablets, along with iPhones and Androids, desktop computers, Roku and Apple TV.
