Microsoft announced this week that they will be cutting the price of their Xbox One gaming console to just $350 for the holiday season.

Last year, when it was introduced in November, it was sold for $500, but that was with the Kinect camera packaged along with it.

The $350 price is without the Kinect camera, which makes it just $50 cheaper than the $400 price tag it had without the camera this summer.

The holiday pricing will last through the first week of January.

With the world turning to home automation more than ever, the Xbox One system offers a taste of what the future holds, with voice activated entertainment system that has HDMI throughput for your Cable TV.
