For the second time in as many years, Netflix received an Oscars nomination in the Best Documentary category Thursday, this time for “Virunga.”

The movie follows park rangers of Virunga National Park, as they try to protect endangered mountain gorillas in Africa. Leonardo DiCaprio’s production company, Appian Ways, produced the film.

Last year, “The Square” was nominated for an Academy Award in the same category. This was a film about a group of Egyptian revolutionaries.
