Roku has announced that they’ll be releasing the new Roku 4, the fourth version of their popular streaming device, later this summer.

The new Roku 4 streaming device will offer 4K UltraHD picture quality videos, along with streaming content from providers like Netflix, Crackle, YouTube, etc.

Roku will still offer HBO GO, which requires a subscription through Cable TV providers, whereas Apple TV will be offering HBO Now, which is a standalone streaming service.

Users looking for a discount, and not necessarily trying to get the latest gadgets, can buy a Roku 3 for just $79, down from $100, as the company prepares for its latest release.
