New TV Shows on Netflix Coming Soon

With the summer months officially upon us, that means our regular favorites on the networks are likely done until September or so, which means turning to Netflix and other streaming sites for new entertainment is a great idea.

BoJack Horseman

This animated Netflix Original is scheduled to be available for streaming beginning on August 22.

The plot centers around a whiskey drinking movie star of a once popular ’90s sitcom that retired from acting too early. Now, he has to figure out what to do with the rest of his life. To further complicate matters, the actor is half-man and half-horse. He still resides in Los Angeles, where humans, animals and mixtures of the two all happily coexist. The show’s script is written for adults rather than children, so viewer discretion is advised.
