TabletTV officially launched in the San Francisco Bay area this week, making broadcast TV signals available to people with mobile devices. The startup company is backed by the Granite Broadcasting Corporation, and they have officially begun to take orders.

The TabletTV app works with iOS mobile devices right now, including iPhones and iPads, and customers can pay a one-time price of $89.95 to get the T-Pod hardware to convert the signals into Wi-Fi signals.

A small digital TV antenna, tuner and digital recorder makes up the TabletTV, and users can watch over-the-air broadcasts within 100 feet from the T-Pod.
