Target Ticket Shutting Down on March 7
Retail store Target has decided to shut down its video on demand service called, “Target Ticket” on March 7, as the company focuses on “other entertainment offerings,” according to a statement on their website.
The movies that Target Ticket had previously provided access to will be provided by a third-party company called CinemaNow, once the service shuts down.
Those who purchased content through Target Ticket will also be able to access them if they are Ultraviolet subscribers.
Target Ticket has been around since the fall of 2013, and they join Samsung’s Video and Media Hub, which shut down in August of 2014, as a casualty in the online video market wars.
