Many Verizon Internet Plans to Choose From
Consumers agree that Verizon Internet Plans are a good place to start looking when you’re searching for a reliable Internet service provider (ISP). There are many ISPs to choose from, but Verizon is one of the most reliable. They’re worldwide, and their Internet speeds are consistently fast. Whether you’re looking for a bundled service plan, or just the Internet on its own, Verizon has something for you.
What to Expect from Verizon Internet Plans
Before you look into the individual service plans, you’re going to want to know what you’re getting into when you sign on with Verizon. As one of the leading telecommunications companies in the world, Verizon has some of the most reliable service connections, and it’s rated as one of the most consistently dependable Internet service providers. It’s fast too, so you know that when you sign up with Verizon, you’re getting the real deal. The best part is they give you this valuable service at a great price. The cheapest Internet plan starts at $19.99 a month, which means you can pay less than you would for other service providers while getting better service.
FiOS High Speed Internet Plans
If you don’t mind spending a bit more, Verizon offers what they call the FiOS Triple Play. The FiOS plans that they have available offer the fastest connection speeds that Verizon has. The Triple Play comes with Internet that runs at 15/5 Mbps (15 Megabits download speed/5 upload), HD TV, and a phone line. It’s priced at $89.99 a month. Unfortunately, the offer isn’t available in Maryland, Washington, D.C., or Virginia. As an added incentive, when you sign up for the FiOS Triple Play, you can get a $400 Visa prepaid card instead.
If you’re still interested in a FiOS Internet plan, but don’t want the extras that come in the bundle, there are individual plans that cover just the Internet. For $49.99 a month you can get their 15/5 Mbps service plan. It’s perfect for the average person who uses the Internet just for fun. It’s faster than their normal Internet, but not the fastest that they have to offer. The next plan is $59.99 for 50/35 Mbps, which is perfect for the online gamer or someone who does a lot of downloading. It cuts down the time it takes to download movies and upload photos dramatically. The next plan is $69.99 a month for 75/35 Mbps. It’s so fast that it only takes an average of 58 seconds to upload 200 photos. The next step up from the normal FiOS Internet plans is their FiOS Quantum speeds, and those prices start at $129.99 a month and go up from there.
Regular Internet Plans
If you’re looking for the whole package, but don’t want the FiOS plans, the best deal Verizon has is $74.99 a month for a full bundle plan. It includes their High Speed Internet, DIRECT TV Cable, and their phone service. This package basically gives you everything that Verizon has to offer with their normal Internet, and you even get a season of NFL Sunday Ticket and free access to HBO, Starz, Showtime, and Cinemax, for three months.
The whole package isn’t for everyone. Some people are daunted by the high price, or simply don’t need all the services it provides. If you don’t need Cable TV in your plan, you can get their High Speed Internet and a Home Phone line for $34.99 or $44.99 if you choose their Freedom Essentials phone plan instead of the standard Regional Essentials plan. The difference between the two phone plans is simple. The Freedom Essentials covers the basics, like unlimited local and regional calling, voicemail, caller ID, and voicemail. The Freedom Essentials plan adds in nationwide long distance, call waiting, call forwarding, and three-way calling.
Some people just want the Internet without anything else, and Verizon has plenty of plans for that too. The cheapest Internet plan is $19.99 a month. It comes with nine free email accounts, so that everyone in your home can have a Verizon account of their own. For just $10 more a month, you can get the High Speed Internet Enhanced package, which comes with Wi-Fi hotspot access on top of the nine free email accounts. To sweeten the deal, Verizon waives the activation fee, which would otherwise cost you an additional $19.99. They also send you a free wireless router, which is normally a $39.99 value, and they ship it for free.
While Verizon Internet plans are certainly great, not everyone has access. Check your street address below to see what services are offered in your area.
