bracketbuy -- .com
wrong mount! that tv will bounce like a bitch. use vesa mount one. also put the hangers on the wrong way!!! the tilt adj. knobs are supposed to be on the outer side so you can loosn/tighten it einstein! USE A LEVEL!
@billsy69 Right ...i lived in Elgand for 3 years, then came back to the USA, TEH HOUSES ARE SO SHITTY HERE!!! Plaster board and stucco...that all the houses are made form. You brits built houses to withstand teh Blitz and all that shit....your homes can be BOMBED and still be pretty well ok. If the Germans bombed American cities, they would be dust in seconds ....
@hacker13sacker yes you would, b/c the dry wall isnt strong enough to hold your lcd.
if im mounting a small 23in 10.5 lb monitor do i need to find the studs aswell im curious
sorry man didn't mean to insult you. Its code here in california to have wires behind the wall properly protected. probably different in other parts of the country but protecting those wires dropped behind the wall is probably a good idea even if you don't live here. cheers
@jabou916 ...oh really and why not? I do this for a living and I put them back there ALL the time. Was trained by a 20year vet. The only thing I wont do is run an extension cord in wall, but if its a solid connect with no break, its fine and you know it! And to the guy up top, that mount is FINE....what do you mean wrong mount? It worked didnt it, no matter you hear or read, you cant argue with success....and dude, use a level. Whats the matter with you? Not everyone has $ to move an outlet !!
with your tape, just remember that your floor might not always be leveled....buy a stud finder please
I install these for a living....1. wrong mount for the TV. 2. Your around about the cord threw the wall, its not a HUGE deal but its up to a home owner. I WONT DO IT but thats me. And finally 3! USE A LEVEL! OMG USE A DAMN LEVEL!
i used metal anchors with my 37inch screen for extra protection on a 2armed pull out wall mount, and i used a 12mm drill piece, i had my screen at eye level. i only found 1 stud. PEOPLE ALWAYS USE A GOD DAMMN LEVEL. sometimes walls and windows arent even level so thiers no point in using them as a guide for leveling.
Dude you can not put the electrical cord behind the wall. duh
No person should attempt to follow these instructions at any time. Many industry rules were broken & the electrical violation is a problem. If someone wishes to have a TV wall mounted, they should call a pro for real info or procedure.
I agree, We all live in wood shacks here (Canada). I want to move back to england...
just buy a cord cover kit... instead of making holes in the wall and all that trouble.
silly yanks with all their studs, just build a house in the proper way with brick walls.
Does this guy not realize that it is against code to place power cords in wall like that when doing this it is a good idea to just have a electrician put a out let behind the TV safer that way.
This is a crazy video
Good video for the mount, but u need to give more details on the rest cause u practically jumped the step for the holes and the cable through the hole step too. I saw some other videos so i learned how to do it, but thanks for explain the mount system
pretty basic information. I already knew most of it. my problem is Insufficient studs. I found two studs that I can mount one half of the mount on. But what do I do about the other half of the mount? My TV is 52" LCD. I need info on how to use a toggle bolt. Maybe in the next video you will cover it? But thanks anyway.
yea, i sorry about that. I remember being a little tipsy when i wrote that and wanting to remember to apologize
sarcasm. . .
to level your TV maybe.......
Why would you want to use a level?
