ESPN’s online feed on the WatchESPN app was out for the first half of Thursday’s College Football Playoff game between Oregon and Florida State.

Anyone hoping to stream the game to their computers, mobile devices or Smart TVs were unable to watch the first half — and social media blew up as a result.

Josh Krulewitz, an ESPN spokesman, apologized for the inconvenience, and he noted that most of the issues were resolved with the WatchESPN app by the third quarter.
