Xbox One Offers Over-the-Air Tuner

Xbox One owners may soon be able to access local channels when they come out with an integrated Community Antenna TV (CATV) tuner later this year.

The over-the-air tuner will cost around $60, and an HDTV antenna would still be needed as an add-on.

Cable TV channels, of course still won’t be available, but Xbox One owners already have access to HBO Go, Netflix, Hulu Plus and other streaming applications.

But the over-the-air tuner should give users access to broadcast networks without a subscription to Cable TV providers.
